You’ll recall that a few days ago I mentioned that I would be teaching Intro Stats again this upcoming semester. Since I taught it before, I wasn’t too worried – I already have a full set of slides, homeworks, etc, right? How hard can it be?
The answer is VERY if you can’t find the files. They appear to be gone; poof; MIA. The jump drive they lived on died and apparently I didn’t keep them anywhere else. The result is that I get to start again, from scratch, and do them all over. I guess a really good backup scheme only works if you actually back up all possible locations, including things like jump drives.
