Apparently all those presentations/publications pay off.  I was sent a personal invitation to apply for a tenure track position. 

Of course, that is assuming I would graduate by August 09, which seems unlikely.  And I’m sure I’m not the only person who was invited.  And they want a quantitative person (which I can do, but isn’t my passion).

Still, WOW….
